- Dr Robert Ballard JASON XI "Going to Extremes" looked at sea and space through the eyes of modern-day explorers. We compared the extreme conditions of life in NOAA's Aquarius Underwater Laboratory in the Florida Keys with the conditions of life in space, as experienced by NASA's personnel while training to man the International Space Station, and studied them as research platforms which enable humans to go beyond their physical limitations to explore the unknown.. |
