Fees For Individuals

Facility Fees
$28.50 per person per day. This fee allows non-residents the use of general facilities.

Lab/Office Rental
Use of laboratories or offices from $80-$190 per day. The fee varies according to the type of lab or office. This includes use of equipment requested on application form. Discounts apply for terms of a week or more.

Grants-in-Aid
Small grants are available to help defray in-house costs such as lab and facilities fees, and truck, boat and scuba tank rental. Contact Gillian Hollis at gillian.hollis(at)bios.edu for more information.

Accommodation and Meals
Stays of 30 consecutive days or more will be discounted 10 percent.

Room fees include use of the library, computers and wireless internet. Please use our facilities with care and consideration for others. All visitors are encouraged to bring their laptops with them to take advantage of our wireless internet in reception, Wright Hall and library.

Apartments with Kitchens

• 1 Bedroom: $190 per day
• 2 Bedroom: $235 per day
• 3 Bedroom: $278 per day

Cottages with Kitchens

• 1 Bedroom: $225 per day
• 2 Bedroom: $255 per day
• 3 Bedroom: $292 per day

Rooms with Private Bathroom

• Single: $118 per day
• Double/Twin: $162 per day
• Triple: $201 per day

Rooms with Shared Bathroom

• Single: $78 per day
• Twin: $112 per day
• Triple: $147 per day

Meals

• Breakfast: $9.80 per day
• Lunch: $16.50 per day
• Dinner: $23.30 per day
• Total per Day: $49.50 per day

Deposits Individuals
Two nights' stay. Credit card guarantee at booking.

Cancellation Charges
Individuals: Individuals must cancel at least one month prior to arrival to avoid forfeiture of deposit.

Rates are effective January 1, 2008.
