Eric Hahn

In April 2020, Eric joined BIOS as the Chief Engineer on R/V Atlantic Explorer. Eric is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship's machinery and oversees project management of all members of the Engine Department.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Operations from the Maine Maritime Academy and an unlimited 3rd Engineer U.S. Coast Guard license for diesel, steam, and gas turbine propulsion. Eric has previously sailed aboard R/V Endeavor, M/V Philadelphia Express, and USNS Leroy Grumman.
