Kaitlin currently directs science curriculum development, programming and workshops for Ocean Academy programs.  Kaitlin oversees the building and maintenance of relationships with schools, professional associations and non-profit organizations locally and internationally.  She is actively involved in course and curriculum development for current and new international visiting groups. She is currently the Bermuda Regional Coordinator in cooperation with the Marine Advanced Technology and Education Centre (MATE). Prior to her time with BIOS, Kaitlin was a coordinator and instructor for the Earth Institute Center for Environmental Sustainability (EICES) at Columbia University, for the Summer Ecosystem Experience for Undergraduates program (SEE-U). She received her Master’s in Conservation Biology in 2008 from Columbia, where she remains on certificate faculty. Kaitlin holds a B. Sc. (Hons) in Marine Biology from Roger Williams University (’06). She is graduate of the Duke Environmental Leadership Program (DEL) (’16 ) and is currently enrolled in the Informal Education Certificate Program at Oregon State University.
