Stacy received a BSc in Earth Science from Portland State University, spending her 2011 fall semester at BIOS on a Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) scholarship. She returned each year from 2012 to 2014, working as a field and laboratory intern in the Coral Reef Ecology and Optics Laboratory (CREOL) and as a teaching assistant for the Fall Semester Program.

Stacy joined the CREOL team in 2016 as a Research Technician with a primary focus on the COral Reef Airborne Laboratory (CORAL) project. She conducts laboratory experiments on coral reef bio-optics and biogeochemistry, participates in the field validation of remote sensing products, and helps to assess coral reef community structure. She loves working underwater and is interested in the establishment of globally uniform methodologies for studying coral reefs.
