Acceptance into the program requires at least Freshman-level science courses in Biology.
- Interested students should visit their advisors to ensure that the program meets their needs. It might also be necessary to visit the Study Abroad Office to pick up a Study Abroad packet.
- Students must fill out an online application so BIOS knows which students plan to attend and what courses they will take. If you are unable to complete the online application, please download a printable PDF application form and fax or mail it to BIOS's education office. A student handbook describing the on-campus services and a travel tips brochure, which provides suggestions on what to bring, will be mailed to each applicant.
Please note that BIOS's application deadline is July 8, 2008. Each participating school has its own application deadline.
- Each participating school has particular requirements. Please contact the following faculty members:
- University of Rhode Island: Tom Hospod, Office of International Education and National Student Exchange
- Roger Williams University: Dr. Skip Pomeroy, Department of Environmental Science
