BIOS will apply for immigration permission for students to enter Bermuda for the purpose of studying in the Fall program. Bermuda's Immigration laws are strict, so no extensions to students' stays can be granted beyond a few days. Additionally, participants will not be permitted to take a job while studying in Bermuda. Students have volunteered at the Bermuda Aquarium on a regular basis.
Bermuda does not observe the Thanksgiving holiday and the research course will be in session at that time. If you decide to travel home for this holiday, it should be for a limited period. Remember that the research course is six credits, completed in four weeks and any loss of time is important.
