The initial deposit of $50 (US) to reserve your position is nonrefundable.
Payment for the balance of room, board, and tuition fees can be paid in advance or is due the day students arrive. Payment can be by check (US bank), money order, or by credit card (VISA or MasterCharge).
Refunds on room, board and tuition are on a pro rata basis. Course start and end dates are listed on the main Summer Course page.
- If payment has been made in advance, withdrawals at least two days before the course starts receive a 100% refund (excluding initial deposit).
- Courses that last seven days or less: Withdrawals before the second day of the course receive a 50% refund.
- Courses that last eight to 14 days: Withdrawals before the third day of the course receive a 50% refund.
- Courses that last 15 to 21 days: Withdrawals before the fourth day of the course receive a 50% refund.
- Courses that last more than 22 days: Withdrawals before the fifth day of the course receive a 50% refund.
There are no refunds after these dates. Travel costs are not refunded.
Transcripts: Transcripts are available at the end of each summer course. If students fail to pick up their transcript or have lost their transcript, there will be a $20 charge for a replacement. Please address transcript requests to education(at)bios.edu
