Bringing together global thought leaders from government, industry and the science community, the Bermuda Climate Risk Forum provides a dynamic platform to raise awareness and seek solutions on the critical issue of climate risk.
Held annually in association with the PGA TOUR: Bermuda Championship, the event benefits the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) and underscores the island’s experience in climate-risk resilience, pioneering scientific research, and contribution to cities and communities through its global (re)insurance market.
Join us in Bermuda, the risk capital of the world and one of the most resilient islands, to learn about risk from experts in science and business, and hear how some of the smallest countries are leading the way in building resilience in the face of climate change.
This series of monthly talks features seminars by both BIOS researchers and visiting scientists. Accompanied by refreshments, these talks are a fantastic means of sharing exciting new findings and current projects with those at BIOS and within the larger Bermudian science community. These in-depth talks are geared towards a researcher-based audience but all interested parties are welcome.
As of January 2018, BIOS will no longer be offering public tours of its research labs and facilities. For information about the various research programs at BIOS, please visit http://www.bios.edu/research/projects or contact individual faculty members and research staff listed on the Team Member page.
