BIOS is contracted by the Government of Bermuda to provide monitoring and research services to help assess the health of the environment in Bermuda.

The Environmental Quality Program includes research on Bermuda's air quality and environmental quality, as well as investigations of mercury levels and sources in Bermuda's environment.
