The summit is sponsored by XL Catlin, in partnership with organisations including Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Ocean Unite.
The University of Rhode Island’s Graduate School of Oceanography has partnered with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the University of New Hampshire in a consortium that will operate the graduate school’s research vessel Endeavor and will also jointly submit a request to the National Science Foundation to operate a new ship.
The 2018 ROV Challenge team winners are as follows
28t teams from 10 Bermuda schools and educational organizations, including two new teams from Bermuda College, will converge on the National Sports Centre on March 25 for the 2018 Marine Advanced Technology in Education [MATE] Bermuda Regional Remotely Operated Vehicle [ROV] Challenge.
On 15 March 2018 local organisations will participate in the 18th annual CARIBE WAVE exercise organised by UNESCO and NOAA.
